Mental health disorders like depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, and panic attacks are complex. Hence, four essential things we must know about this issue are the most complicated problems people face with mental health disorders, what can help these people, advice that would help people, and how to reduce or terminate the stigma associated with psychological disorders. First, the hardest problem in social situations like regular day-by-day activities and the stigma associated with a mental health disorder. For example, if the ill person is having a difficult day or the mood is not good social situations can be harder than they are, and this can look like the entire world is crashing on them. Also, there is a stigma associated with mental health disorders like “schizo” or depression which makes this issue harder to face in daily social situations. Second, what can help people with the disorder is normal treatment and support from friends and family. For example, people with disorders want to be treated normally, this can help people with disorders feel like they are included in society and are not abnormal or special on any level. Also, support from friends and family is important to help people forget for a while about their issues and remember that they are not alone at all and helps them to remember how far they struggle daily in social situations. Next, some good advice would be to focus on today and ask for help. For example, focusing on today is accepting that the past cannot be changed, and the future cannot be controlled, so the present is the only thing people need to be focused on. In this way, you should be yourself and be brave, and believe that you will recover from it. Also, asking for help is important advice because once you talk about it, this really helps to break some social barriers and let people know that they are allowed to make something to solve anything they can. Finally, to reduce the stigma associated with this matter, I believe that society must educate people about actions that can cause inclusion between healthy people and people with mental health disorders. So, in this way, we will live in a society more conscious about how to behave in a regular situation, so education and communication about this subject must be spread daily among leaders in our society, such as professors, religious leaders, politicians, and parents. Also, marketing campaigns can help to achieve this message beyond the borders of the United States. In conclusion, mental health disorders are hard but clarifying the problem people face about it, with attitudes that really help them, communicating to advise people with a mental health disorder, and bringing consciousness to reduce or eliminate the stigma associated with it are some actions we must do for a better human society.
